Favorite part of the Job…

Thank you

I love what I do; it’s more than I ever imagined it to be. I get insanely excited with each new project, a new client, even when my recurring clients call me in, but each new message from my fans is by far the best part of this job. To know that you are helping someone to love him or herself, to gain confidence, overcome something, maybe they finally believe in themselves again, that is the best feeling in the world.

Here are a few of the ones that touched my soul…

“Hello, I just wanted to thank you. I think you’re beautiful and an inspiration. A few years ago I was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor and a seizure disorder. I’ve lost my hair 3 times, was in an abusive relationship and had a miscarriage. I feel like I have no self-esteem. I’m in pain constantly and forgot what it feels like to be me anymore. Your page helped me remember what it feels like to be beautiful again. And I just wanted to say thank you from one woman to another. Have a wonderful day and may God bless you with all your endeavors.” Y.A.

“Hi Laura, Weirdly, I’m a little nervous emailing you! I’ve been following you and have truly been inspired by your Facebook posts. Being a girl of curves for as long as I remember and growing up with a body image obsessed mother and sister, it’s taken me a long time to reach this stage in life; finally being comfortable in my own skin. Lumps and all. You have a massive part in my newfound confidence. Learning from your style tips and looking at your stunning body in ‘non-conventional’ plus sized clothes have made me finally release I’m not as repulsive as I’ve viewed myself for many years. Thank you my darling. My body deserves respect and I’m finally realizing that.” Gianna

“Hello! I just read an extremely heartwarming story about how you helped a teenager being bullied in high school because of her weight/size and wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I had a similar experience in high school, before the social media/ body positive/ size empowerment/ societal shift that you are committed to pioneering. Thank you for being there for her and responding to her. Thank you for being here for us and for being such a beautiful human being. I am now a school counselor and will use your story to spread this story of turning hate into empowerment, community, support, and love. The world is a better place with you here. Thank you a million times. With so much love and respect.” Julia

“Thank you! You’re beautiful and you make me feel the same!!!! Love from France” Céline

“Hi there… wow…you’re my inspiration…your confidence in whatever you wear…. I love your style. I myself am a full figured lady all the way from Africa, Namibia. I would like to know how I can become a model out there…I want to spread my wings and see the world.” Jadé

“You are very beautiful and still waiting for my opportunity like you…keep doing you hun because you’d be surprise of the small timers you influenced… SINCERELY a fan.” Jenni

I read every message, and honestly try to respond to each beautiful message and answer each question you send my way. Stay humble luvies… xoxo
